Program Description
The School of Tourism and Hotel Management offers a full-time program at the PhD level allowing students to focus on tourism and hospitality administration.
Degree requirements
In order to obtain a doctoral degree, candidates must:
Successfully complete all required courses and obtain enough credits required by a doctoral degree at DUFE;
Successfully pass and defend the doctoral thesis;
Publish at least one academic paper at SSCI or SCI indexed journal in tourism or hospitality field by the time of final submission of the doctoral thesis.

Degree certificate in languages other than Chinese or English should be translated into Chinese or English and be certified by notarization. Graduation certificate must be certified by the Chinese Embassy (Consulate) in your country or notarized by a notary office in China.

*3. Non-criminal Record Certificate (Generally, it is valid for 3 or 6 months)
It must be issued by your local police station with official stamp.
*4. English proficiency test certificate

*5. Two recommendation letters by professors or associate professors
Written in English from two professors or associate professors, including professors' contact information, email address and handwritten signature.
*6. Study plan
Including study purpose, research interest and research plan in brief. Written in English and more than 800 words.
*7. Passport first page, visa page (please ensure continuity).
*8. Physical Examination Form(only valid for 6 months)
Please take it to hospital to have a checkup with all items, including personal information, photo, checking date, doctors' suggestion and signature.

11. Supporting Documents: Certificate of Good Conduct
Provided by your current/previous school/company in Chinese/English to improve your success rate.
